Thinking that I've found a way
To rearrange my sullen constitution,
I set myself to frame a happier
Conclusion to the passage of this day.
Rightly I remain in constant trepidation,
Fearing that the slightest tremor
Will collapse my good intentions.
People have a way of triggering
My base emotions—eliminate the cause
And a cure is soon effected.
Alone with my solution,
Will I find the tableau wanting?
