The Good

Men say you are beautiful,
Surpassing what our minds can bear,
But I say you are simply full
Of primal good beyond compare.
Women know your heart is strong—
That the enemy is weak.
They do not think your wrath is wrong
When you're sheltering the meek.
Children seek your depth of joy
And find it in the act of play,
So close to you that any toy
Is filled with life; they know the way
To worship what is right in all
The creatures of the field and hall.
