Paralysis

Everything speaks to me
Of tentative conclusions;
It is not an atmosphere
In which to press on boldly.

I have reached the stale
Point of transactions;
The effort to be eager
Is more than I can give.

Indecision alone keeps me
In my present company;
Escape is seeming more
And more the only antidote.
