Raccoons

Raccoons prefer nocturnal raids—
You'll seldom see a rogue raccoon
Patrol the grounds at sunlit noon.

And when the midnight darkness fades,
Raccoons are bound to disappear
As swiftly as a startled deer.

Omnivorous by nature, they
Will often wash in water their
Intended meals with utmost care.

The social groups they form display
High levels of intelligence,
Promoting their survival sense.

The mothers are quite motherly;
They treat their young ones tenderly.
The males are boisterous and bold;
They seldom do what they are told.

But all the sizes, styles, and types
Wear bandit masks and tails with stripes.
