All the old tales told are changing,
And we with them—
We are no longer what we used to be.
Who now worships at the altar of Apollo,
Or calls to Isis for aid in times of need?
We look to each other
For the force that drives us on,
And finding that it lies beyond,
Hasten to make it named and known—
An image on our totem pole.
