Reparations
Reparations will be made
For each and every act of shame
When the widows are in charge,
When the henchmen share the blame.
Do you ever stop to wonder
How much better life would be
If we learned to spare our neighbour,
If we valued sanity?
This world is a fleeting shadow
Of a better world in store—
One that is within our reach,
One we have been waiting for.
