Rubber Stamp Eyes
Rubber stamp eyes
Don't take the time
To see things from a fresh perspective—
They just perpetuate what someone else saw
A long, long time ago.
Like a sailor on the shore
With no paddle and no oar,
Rubber stamp eyes can criticise
But they never learn to praise.
One of these days
They'll settle down and take a look around
For the very first time—
Oh, what singularities they'll find.
