Woman and Man
Woman and man, we are two trees
From the same base rising skyward.
We are two fountains of clear water
Climbing ninety feet or more
Before we carefully descend.
We are the spiral of two butterflies
That fly about each other.
Woman and man, we are together
And apart, but always in our hearts
We are at home in our togetherness.
